The Origin of Nasubi
In Japanese, the world "Nasubi" means "the fruit of eggplant"; the reason why it is so called is that in the Edo period of Japan, there was a popular saying "Fuji is the first, hawk the second while eggplant the third", which was the most noble, had the nicest meaning then and was favored by the well-known Tokugawa; on the other hand, the initiators Mr. Fujita Yasuhiko (the current president) and Mr. (the current vice-president) who loved their homeland deeply would miss their family wherever they were, so they directly named the company by the homeland specialty "Sanbao eggplant" to relieve their homesickness and mean that they would never desert.
In 2007, the Japanese food "Nasubi" entered the 32nd spring upon establishment. There were 10 chain stores in Japan, and the sales revenue reached 1.27 billion yen in 2005 (equivalent to about RMB 83 million Yuan).

In order to make the food at Hangzhou store never get inferior to that in Japan, two first-rate famous chefs from the main store of Nasubi at Japan have been sent to the Hangzhou restaurant to serve guests, and with decades of cuisine making experience, they prepare delicacy that will make every guest moved.
3. Environment: The overall style inside the restaurant has combined modern and ancient Japanese styles and furthermore made the two get integrated organically. The strong contrast produced from the dark and light of lighting creates a world of shade and shadow. The whole restaurant is divided into eleven boxes and one lobby. The super first-rate design master Mr. Ichiro Satou himself has designed all details.
